New Year’s Resolution #1—sign up early for the Rosedale Ride!
There’s no place like home. There’s no place like home. There’s no place like home. Yes, we enjoyed our visit to our down-the-street neighbors, Applied Materials, but it’s good to be back at Samsung this year for the 14th annual Rosedale Ride.
It will be a great year to think big and think small. Samsung just completed their brand new fab, and we can’t wait to show it to you. That’s the big. In fact it’s $3.5 billion big. It’s shiny and new and it’s dedicated to the very latest—nanotechnology, tiny computer chips with circuits way smaller than a red blood cell. That’s the small. (We would show one to you, but you wouldn’t be able to see it!) Nonetheless, Samsung’s proud, and we’re proud for them. They shipped their first batch in early December. It’s that new.
With all that activity at Samsung, we asked them if they wanted us back, not wanting to get in their way and all, and they said they wouldn’t have it any other way, and that it just wouldn’t be any fun making chips if they didn’t have the Rosedale Ride to go with it. What hospitality. This is feeling like home.
We sure hope you can join us for our return to Samsung and the 2008 Rosedale Ride.
